Forum and Blog Rules:
■ Your posting on this public forum and blog will become public.
Your text will be available to anyone on the Internet.
■ Keep all writing civil and no swearing or coarse, insulting
language. Be courteous at all times. Constructive criticism is very
welcome, but insults and 'flaming' directed towards other users or
the site administrators or moderators will not be tolerated. We
will be the final arbitrator in these matters.
■ Racist, ethnic, gender based, or any other personal
discrimination will not be tolerated.
■ Stalking or harassing other members is forbidden.
■ Don't post stupid, meaningless or non subject related threads, or
single word or otherwise short nonsense posts. They will be treated
as SPAM.
■ Choose a meaningful and descriptive subject header. Try to
encapuslate and summarise the subject matter in the post without
'waffling' but again - don't make it too brief unless the post is
all about brevity. A good idea is to repeat the subject header at
the front of the body as it generally makes things clearer. Don't
use CAPS AS IT IS LIKE SHOUTING! Do NOT knowingly offer false or
misleading information or fanciful subject headers to get attention
(e.g. ELVIS IS ALIVE ?) Also - don't use a URL as a thread title -
thats NO-NO!
■ You cannot post advertising or notices for ANY contests.
■ Spamming is
NOT allowed. This includes using the forum
email AND the private message system to spam other members.
■ 'Trolling' is strictly prohibited. 'Trolling' (also known as
'flaming') are words that are used to describe a post that is
deliberately designed for the purpose of upsetting angering and
insulting the members of the forum community.
■ Each member is allowed one login account. Registering with
multiple accounts is PROHIBITED. If you do - and we find you - and
we will - you will be banned forever off the forum!
■ Do NOT adopt another persons identity. Identity theft is ILLEGAL
and the authorities WILL be notified once we catch you.
■ Use your own words. If you wish to use other persons words or
writing please quote them, citing the source information.
Plagiarism is illegal.
■ Any posts that encourage illegal intent will be removed and the
account removed.
■ Do NOT link (or post) to any site that contains adult or
pornographic content - or any sexually oriented material that is
considered offensive. Any post containing an inappropriate link
will be deleted and the member will be removed.
■ Make sure your images are displayed at a reasonable size but DO
NOT upload large files (over 4MB).
■ Do not knowingly upload or attach files that contain viruses,
corrupted files, or any other MALICIOUS software or programs that
can damage our or our Members computers.
■ The Australia Travel Forum retains the right at all times to
alter or delete any post that we deem to be NOT in the public nor
members interest. Our decision on this is final and irrevocable. We
reserve the right to remove offensive posts without notice or
explanation.
■ Whilst our Member Rules are common sense and are formulated to
cover most common situations, they do not cover all situations that
may arise. Consequently we reserve the right to take all and ANY
action(s) we deem appropriate to ensure this forum is not damaged,
disrupted or abused in any way whatsoever.
■ Failure to abide by these rules may result in an editing,
negative moderation or deletion of your post.
■ We reserve the right at all times to ban abusers from the site.
We also reserve the right to change these rules at ANY time WITHOUT
notice.
Forum/Blog Abuse Policy:
■ 1st Offence - A private message will be sent from site Admin to

it, and the post or blog will be either edited or deleted. The
message will also warn the offender that if it it happens again
they will be taken OFF the site and NOT allowed back.
